Medline Industries, Inc. announced today that David Greenberg has been appointed to the newly created position of executive vice president of strategy. Greenberg will be responsible for identifying and tracking competitive trends, defining and supporting strategic priorities and executing business development transactions that strengthen and broaden the Medline portfolio and support the needs of our customers.

Greenberg joins Medline from Aon Corporation, where he served as chief financial officer of Aon Global and had extensive responsibility for a variety of M&A, corporate finance activities and strategic initiatives. During his tenure at Aon, Greenberg held several operational management positions and had responsibility over various other corporate functions.
Greenberg received his law degree from ITT/Chicago Kent College of Law, graduating with honors. He graduated with a bachelors of arts degree in Economics from the University of Illinois/Champaign-Urbana.
